El Director del gigante energético ruso Gazprom anunció este viernes que la empresa ha decidido dar inicio a la construcción de un gasoducto, llamado Turkish Stream. Los preparativos para realizar la construcción del tramo submarino del mismo comenzarían de inmediato.
“A partir de ahora Gazprom avanza hacia la etapa de construcción de la porción marina del gasoducto Turkish Stream”, declaró el Director de Gazprom, Alexei Miller.
Gazprom comenzó a construir el gasoducto Turkish Stream poco después de abandonar el proyecto South Stream en diciembre pasado, alegando interferencia y objeciones por parte de autoridades europeas.
Miller añadió que la empresa no ha comenzado con la construcción de otras tres líneas de suministro de gas entre Rusia y Europa, donde Gazprom se enfrenta a investigaciones por monopolio.
